Pros and cons travel:

The owner (Nora) is very friendly. Big space of family room.
WiFi availability, no heating system or heating blanket. Poor breakfast.

Relaxing.
The TV should be in the lounge area, not in the dinning room as very uncomfortable sitting on dinning chairs to watch TV

During our road trip from Port Elizabeth to Cape Town, we had a comfortable stay at a guest lodge in Storms River. the location of the lodge was ideal, as it was conveniently situated off the highway. the rooms were spacious and well-appointed, with ceiling fans for the summer and electric blankets for the colder nights. the staff were friendly and the breakfast in the lovely dining room was delicious.
The lack of Wi-Fi in the rooms was a downside.

We had a blast exploring the ‘Spirit of the Tsitsikamma' boat rides and checking out the stunning Waterfall. There were so many exciting activities to choose from, like hiking through the rainforest on the Ratel Nature Walk and getting our adrenaline pumping on the Tree Top Canopy Tours. The location was perfect for us adventure-seekers, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation!
The only thing we wished for was a lively bar or nightclub nearby where we could continue the fun after a thrilling day of adventures. As young, party-going people, it would have been awesome to have a vibrant nightlife scene within walking distance of the lodge.

We found it to be very pleasant overall.
The rooms were very hot so air conditioners would have been good. The ceiling fans didn't work so well.

Spacious clean room. Location.
Booking confusion for adults and kids and extra payment surprise. Not a full English breakfast.

The location was so rad - we were super close to all the action and adventure. We went on the 'Spirit of the Tsitsikamma' boat ride and it was totally mind-blowing, dude! The views of the gorge and waterfall were insane! We also did the Ratel Nature Walk through the rainforest and felt like we were in a legit jungle movie. And the best part was, after all the craziness, we could chill by the pool and just kick back. It was the perfect combo of thrill and relaxation, man!
The only thing we would've loved to have for a better time is a legit party area. Like, a place where us young dudes and dudettes can crank up the music, dance our hearts out, and just let loose, you know?

Great location, close to Tsitsikamma National Reserve and within walking distance of restaurants. Spacious rooms with big bathrooms. Enjoyed the variety of fruits for breakfast.
Older property in need of updating. Difficult to carry luggage up the stairs.

We had a fantastic time at the lodge. The location was perfect for exploring Tsitsikamma National Park, and there were plenty of restaurants nearby. The breakfast was delicious and had a good variety of options. The hosts were friendly and even gave us recommendations for places to eat in town. We also appreciated the little touches like having an electric blanket. we highly recommend this lodge for a pleasant stay.

Great value for money with spacious rooms and a nice pool area. The staff were kind and accommodating, and the location was perfect with plenty of nearby restaurants and just 15km away from the Tsitsikamma National Park. The Honesty Bar was a refreshing and trustworthy touch, and the building and suites were attractive and appealing.
The breakfast option could have been better with more variety.
